We are Woodley Saints Football Club
A Community Charter Standard Members Football Club
About us
We are a grassroots community football club established in 1983. We cater for co-ed ages 4 to 18, through to adult football.
We work hard to develop our players as good sportsmen and take pride in our smiling approach to football, while focusing on developing a relationship with the whole family.
Interested in helping Woodley Saints?
Woodley Saints is run by volunteers for the benefit of the youngsters of all ages who play the game. But it’s bigger than just a few hours at the weekend. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help at the club, and the range of options is not just limited to football.
Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience, especially knowing that you are supporting a local club to help its youngsters play and enjoy football. Without volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to run the club, so if you can spare a few hours, then please get in touch.
How you can get involved
As a club, we have a committee of volunteers who run the club, and we do want more involvement from people to continue making the club a successful place for our youngsters to play and enjoy football.
Coaching
Coaching is the obvious place to start. If your child already plays and you’d like to get involved, then please talk to your child’s coach to see what’s involved and how you may be able to help. Coaching qualifications and DBS will apply for certain roles for safety and insurance reasons, so please do check.
Other opportunities
If you’re keen to help but coaching isn’t for you, then it’s not a problem! Perhaps supporting the coach with other tasks or the committee might be an opportunity.
You may be a marketing expert, skilled at finance, or a great organiser who loves getting stuck into a project. Or you may just be keen to help the club in whatever way you can.

We know that not everyone can commit to volunteering on a regular basis. If you do have a child who plays with us, then please continue to support your team – and the coach positively from the side-lines.
Thank you for your support.
